(No photos because it was pissing down freezing rain and I like my camera too much)
The driver of one of the town's Mack dump trucks misjudged the corner and clipped the granite curbstone at about 15mph, and with a sound like god throwing a dumpster down the capitol steps he bent the vertical A-frame holding the whole plow assembly so badly the pulley at the top was now pointed down at the pavement, and mangled everything else along the way. With the mangled mechanism raised as much as it now could be, the plow blade was still tipped almost 90 deg forward so it pointed down at the road, and just ground along when he tried to move the truck.
He eventually managed to grind the plow far enough down the road to clear the intersection, and called the garage. They had to pretty much pry the plow off the truck so they could get the truck & plow movable to get it back to the garage.
Sombody is going to have an awkward conversation with the boss tomorrow.

That's why I picked up a K50. Weather resistant.
